Vineyard Information

Grapes for this delicious Chardonnay are sourced primarily from the famed "Nanya" vineyard based in the Murray Valley (Riverland) of South Australia, 150 miles northeast of Adelaide, as well as from other select growers in the region.

Winemaking

Picked at night to ensure the coolest possible fruit, the Chardonnay grapes were crushed and pressed as soon as they reached the winery and the juice was chilled to "cold settle" overnight. The clear juice was then racked and fermented with neutral yeast to retain fresh fruit aromas. This Chardonnay underwent partial malolactic fermentation to add complexity, and was enhanced with French oak to provide sweet vanilla aromas.
